尿酸酶(EC 1.7.3.3)是嘌呤分解代谢中的重要酶之一。它可以氧化尿酸成尿囊素。人体中,尿酸在血液中大多数以单钠盐方式存在。但无论是尿酸或尿酸盐在水中可溶性较差,在某些个体内会沉淀引起痛风。尿酸酶在临床诊断中可用于尿酸含量的测定。
